The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all existing air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment including exhaust fans and evaporative equipment for entire property.

Duties:

• Must be capable of maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule on all Refrigeration equipment.
• Work efficiently and safely with all hand and power tools.
• To facilitate or assist in installation projects.
• To respond to thermostat changes for various departments requests.
• Respond promptly to needs of company.
• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure of shift supervisor.
• Trouble shoots on multiple compressor systems as protocol rack with Einstein control systems.

• Successfully maintain and repair all air/water cooled condensing systems as well as standalone refrigeration units.
• Ability to facilitate PM on Vogt, Hoshizaki, Manitowoc ice machines.
• Attend and successfully complete all internal training courses and position requirements.

• Assist and perform related duties in all areas of the Engineering department as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time and be able to comfortably lift fifty pounds.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration

• High school diploma, GED or trade school equivalent required.

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must obtain and maintain EPA 608 certification.
