The Assistant Gift Shop Manager assists in overseeing the daily operation of the gift shop. Including managing sales, merchandising, inventory, customer service, financial and administrative tasks.

Duties:

• Consistently create a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting, providing quick response to customer inquiries and needs.
• Maintain par levels of store products and order store supplies weekly.
• Receives regular vendor deliveries and stocks sales floor in a timely manner while maintain store aesthetic.
• Perform quarterly inventory.
• Ensure the gift shop is fully staffed.
• Assist Director in identifying training needs and provide ongoing training to the team as needed.
• Creates Staff Schedules and updates and approves weekly payroll.
• Ensure good communication with Retail team.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Three or more years of customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift 30lbs. frequently.
• Strong administrative and computer skills.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
