Laundry Maintenance Technician - $1,000 Hiring Bonus

The Laundry Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing laundry equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Duties:
- Maintain and repair commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, ironers, boilers, extractors, presses, stackers and tunnel systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
- Rebuild pumps, valves, regulators, and other components using knowledge of steam and thermal systems.
- Keep maintenance records of repairs and replacements of laundry equipment.
- Follow equipment manuals and technical guidelines accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding equipment status.
- Monitor equipment for potential issues and report unsafe conditions to the manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in laundry maintenance or a similar field.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams and policies.
- Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting and working in hot environments.
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
