The Cage Manager helps to oversee the overall daily operation of the Cage and Vault at both Peppermill Reno & Western Village - Sparks while providing a high level of customer service.

Duties:

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service.

• Establishing lines of credit for guests.

• safeguarding of company funds by following and enforcing company policy and operations.

• Coordinate the functions of the cage, vault, hard count, and soft count.

• Create and maintain a department budget.

• Monitor the flow of money into and out of the property.

• Counsel, guide, train, and instruct personnel in their duties.

• Ensure effective communication between departments and employees.

• Communicate with various outside departments concerning the flow of cash services throughout the property.

• Maintain par levels of stock items and purchasing supplies.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old

• High School diploma or GED

• Must be able to maintain a valid license with the Gaming Control Board

• Five or more years' experience in cage and vault operations

• Ability to manage 50+ employees

• Knowledge of gaming regulations, 6A regulations and company MICS

• Well organized and self-motivated
