The Tunnel Operator is responsible for operating and loading of tunnel washer with proper linen weights, putting in correct formulas, unloading dryers, watching for any alarms.

Duties:

• Report to work on time, in proper uniform and appearance and maintain standard though out the assigned shift.
• Look for safety issues and report to Laundry Manager
• Lift and move large quantities of linen.
• Able to multitask.
• Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
• Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
• Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadline pressures.
• Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence.
• Basic knowledge and use of computers
• Lift over 40 pounds consistently
• Good vision and hearing capabilities to ensure safety while working around equipment.
